Her smirk tilted, somewhat lazily. "You did just enough," Blue murmured, gently urging Omega down for a soft, sweet kiss; a mirrored opposite of the wildness not ten minutes ago. The pine needles were scritchy against her back, and the night air of the mountains cool on overheated skin, but those were minor annoyances compared to the bliss of being sheltered beneath her mate's possessiveness.

Feeling him twitch inside her brought a soft gasp to parted lips, and Blue lowered her lashes in a coy moue, unable to stifle her chuckle. But her mirth dissipated as she recalled the circumstances leading to this particular interlude. "...it's...it's been a while, hasn't it." A statement, not a question.

A small snarl threatened to curl her upper lip, but she squealched it in favor of drawing Omega's mouth back to hers, intent on driving all thoughts of them far, far away from here and now. Deep down, however, Blue feared she might never be fully rid of it, not entirely. But she knew she'd never have to battle those ghosts alone--her beloved had more than demonstrated his determination, as well the ability, to silence those hauntings indefinitely.
