Right now, Blue honestly didn't care, as long as whatever they caught bled and did so profusely. But she knew that to let the inner beast loose entirely was not only foolish, but also dangerous. Yet it was very difficult to drive back the teeth snapping in her own ears, especially with Omega's hot breath on her lips, his blood-wet mouth so firm and sure on hers, and the barely leashed tension she could feel vibrating all through him.
Blue did manage a moment's sympathy for the poor undeserving tree, at least.
She knew she needed to come down from the high, before one or the both of them crossed the boundary of no return. And her mind betrayed her again. But for once, there was no ghost lurking behind her eyes, no rattle of chain echoing in her ears. Just the veil of starlight and the sound of the night wind high in the pines.
And Omega, dark and hot and wicked and so very eager against her. Blue bit back a low, needful moan. But was unable to let go long enough to break their feverish embrace.
