Omega doesn't bother arguing with that because she's almost certainly right. He doesn't even roll his eyes when she brings up a family meal, mostly because he doubts very much that will actually happen on the first night here. Five minutes in the presence of her Alpha's father and even Omega can see that he isn't the only one less than keen on the idea.

"You'll hear him if he calls," Omega points out, ignoring the fact that she very well may not if they get as far away from the farm as he's hoping to go.
