Omega certainly hadn't failed to notice the buffet wandering around the property, and it makes his teeth ache to know that he can't catch and kill something even if he wanted to. Then again, it wouldn't be a challenge of any kind, and that does take a lot of the fun out of it. There's bound to be things worth chasing in those distant trees.

Not caring much about the layout of the farm itself, he's just dying to explore elsewhere; they've only just touched down at their destination and already Omega is ready to leave, to run off toward those mountains and see how long it takes to reach them. Maybe the sky would swallow him. Standing beside the truck with Blue, he's captivated by the landscape around them, letting the wind breeze past them from the miles of grass, the scent of everything new mixing with the scent of his mate to create an aroma he could chase without ever touching the ground.

But Blue heads in the other direction and he promptly follows. She still has to decide where she'd like to sleep, after all, because that's exactly where he'll be. The barn ahead of them smells like cow and hay and sawdust. Omega considers suggesting that they just sleep out on the hill under the stars.
