It doesn't just disappear. It's never really gone. But having his mate in his arms is always enough to keep even the most vicious impulses restrained. He needs that now -- and he knows she needs him to be the better creature, not the monster he was before she found him.

Omega holds her close, with nothing harsh or cruel in his touch, standing with her in heavy clouds and running water. He tucks his head just so against hers, and with immense determination puts everything else out of his mind but the moment they're sharing now. No InGen. No Hoskins. They belong better in hell than they do here and Omega won't dignify their smoldering ashes with another thought now. He even finds enough gentleness in his own hands to slowly stroke her hair.

He'll never really be free of his demons, but they exist at her beck and call. And he is more than satisfied with that.
