That's the reaction he knew he'd get, even if he didn't want to admit it to himself. He wants to wrench that pillow out of her hands and throw it out the window. Hell, he wants to pull her down to the bed and strip them both and prove to her that there isn't a single inch of her that isn't his, no matter whether some disgusting, dead son of a bitch thought he could change that. But even when he comes close to her, he doesn't try to take hold of her. Not yet.

"Blue--" His voice comes out tighter than he thought it would. It isn't fair, to either of them. It's likely a terrible idea. But he just can't stop himself. "I won't touch you any more than you want me to."

Hell, he'll stand on the other side of the tiny shower with his face to the wall if she tells him. That might even be better for them both. But he's willing to bet it's not what either one of them wants.
