Soft in the dark, Blur purred gently, relishing the gentle touches and affection shared between them. She wanted so much to kiss him, to taste his lips and tongue again, but doing so would only take her down a road she wasn't yet ready to travel. No matter how she yearned to do so.
So instead she kissed his cheek, his nose, his chin, the hollow beneath his jaw, the beating pulse in his neck, and finally brought her lips back to his, breathing his breath with greedy abandon. An idea struck, lightening her eyes with interest.
"Let's go for a run," she whispered, "out away from the city." Their lodgings were on the far north side of the town anyway; Blue had spied thick forests not a mile away from the main highway. "Who knows what we'll find out there tonight." She blinked up at him, the ghost of a smile curving her lips. "Want to?"
