The other four returned halfway through Omega's abrupt, short-tempered process of selecting the slices of pizza he felt would offend their stomachs the least -- damn it, he thinks he'd rather go hungry, but if Blue is willing to eat it then he wants to encourage her to do so. His mate is certainly worth the not-insignificant effort of choking down some heavy oil and grease. Chi and Psi always know better than to get in his way, and Echo and Charlie back off with the right motivation. Blue isn't there to see him snarl, so it's fine. Basically never happened.

He also steals two bottles of water and one bottle of juice, and with this cargo he returns to their room. Blue's scent hasn't drifted off anywhere else, which means she hasn't left the room, which is good. Omega obviously can't say for sure what's going on inside Blue's head without her telling him, but if she runs off again that will only take it from bad to worse.

When he gets back inside, however, he closes the door behind him, takes one look at her, and immediately says-- "What happened?"
