Anything that captivated her so thoroughly, he figures is worth at least some cursory attention on his part. She has been broadening his mind to new horizons for a long time now, after all, and Omega is open to the occasional thoroughly human experience from time to time. And yet, he admits over the top of the book, "But I like it better when you read to me."

Everything is better when Blue is involved. Her absence -- and this definitely counts -- over the last month has been excruciating, but Omega will deal with it with every threadbare shred of patience and self control that he has if it means he'll be there when she comes back. Moments like this, when she's herself for even a little while, make it entirely worth it. Omega wants very badly to join her by the window, but he knows better.
