Without Marie around to tense Gwen up for it, Owen slides an arm around her shoulders and pulls her in again for half a hug that's still firm and protective.
"You're right," he murmurs near the top of her head. "But Blue brought him back from whatever ledge he was pacing. And I don't think there's anything he wouldn't do to repay that -- including being the one for her to thrash against, for once."
He's quiet for a moment, thinking things over, knowing that she has a good point even if he has confidence now that he didn't have for a very long time. Eventually he says, "You're the doctor. You tell me what you want to do."
